As skydiving evolves, so do helmets. These days, specifications are highly specific and demanding. The ZX is the answer to this quest for top-level specifications. The helmet has been built around a shock-absorbing EPS layer, enabling the ZX to pass tests for XP S72-600, specific to skydiving and wind tunnel flying, and EN966 Cat. HPG, dedicated to paragliding and hang-gliding. The outer shell, in shock-absorbing ABS certified for motorcycle helmets, also plays a key role in impact control. 

As an additional protection, the ZX visor is also certified to EN166 specifications. A major feature for your safety! Its special shape offers an unbeatable view unmatched by any skydiving helmet.

All certifications follow the updated regulation for personal protective equipment, CEPPE EU 2016/425, now mandatory on quality products. Applying these standards, even if not specifically required, makes it possible to deliver products that:

• Are made from quality raw materials that are not harmful to the user (non-toxic or hypoallergenic)
• Follow a quality manufacturing standard
• Passed independent laboratory tests, including impact forces, stability, line snag prevention, automatic chinstrap opening under tension

Adherence to these rigid standards has not prevented us from designing a helmet that's comfortable to wear, even for long periods in hot weather.

The shock-absorbing EPS layer has been designed with ventilation channels for air flow to reduce humidity inside. The air intakes are protected by a metal grille to prevent objects from entering the shell.

The hypoallergenic lining not only offers superior comfort, but can be adjusted as well as removed for cleaning or size changes. Naturally positioned ear pockets are the perfect, comfortable place for one or two altisons.

The adjustable chinstrap fits comfortably around the neck and is complemented by the quick-release ratchet buckle. MicrolockIt's easy to use, adjust and release (with just one hand, even when powered up).

The airtight collar is made of an elastic material, making the helmet easy to put on and take off.

Particular care has gone into the design of the UV-filtering visor, certified for high-speed particle impact. The rotation is eccentric, keeping the visor flush with the hull when opened. This has been achieved with a unique, maintenance-free rotation system featuring strong, reliable metal springs. This system not only makes the design unique, but also has the advantage of avoiding the drag effect when flying visor open at high speeds under the canopy.

A very important part of the design has been devoted to the locking system, keeping the visor transparent even at the point of attachment, it closes securely with a protected opening mechanism. Easy to use with gloves, this is a very important detail on the ZX.
