FlySight 2 is a complete overhaul of the previous hardware.

The new features are as follows: Water-resistant enclosure (IP67)

More powerful processor with Bluetooth Low Energy radio

Additional sensors (barometric, acceleration, rotation and orientation)

When you land, you consult the jump data. If you're lucky, or if you've planned a very simple jump, you may remember what you were doing when your glide ratio peaked.

The next time you jump, you try to do it again. FlySight 2 speeds up the learning process. During the jump, when you change your body position, you instantly hear a change in tone. Your brain easily links this feedback to your precise body position, making it surprisingly easy to remember what worked and what didn't. FlySight 2 handles the dynamics of freefall exceptionally well.

FlySight 2 can be switched on a few minutes before output, and starts providing audible feedback immediately after output. For real-time feedback, this method is far superior to one based on position differences, as receiver speeds are accurate to 0.1 m/s.

The unlocked version is available for pre-order. The release date has not yet been announced.

What's the difference between the locked and unlocked versions? The original FlySight features unlocked firmware, allowing users to add customized functions to their device (for example, to give an audible indication not supported by the official firmware).

Most FlySight users have made no changes to the basic firmware.

The unlocked version of FlySight 2 is intended for those who wish to make the same modifications as on FlySight. The unlocked version is available for pre-order, with a release date yet to be announced.

The locked version is currently available for purchase. Please note that when you purchase a locked version, it may not be possible to unlock it in the future.
