Q: Who is this sail intended for?
A: It's more aggressive than the Velocity and Velocity Competition, yet loses neither speed nor power. It's made for people with a lot of experience with high-performance sails. If you're comfortable with a Velocity, then this is for you.
Q: How are the openings?
A: It opens like a dream, even though it's very reactive, it's very smooth, perfectly sequenced and with less tendency to seek to leave its axis during the opening.
Q: What are the flight characteristics?
A: The Valkyrie is more responsive in all its phases. Flare and braking are incredible, as is its glide angle.
HYBRID VALKYRIE- Introducing the Hybrid Valkyrie - everything you love about the Valkyrie, but more. We've incorporated sailcloth into the Valkyrie's ribs to give it more power, more responsiveness and longer turns than the all-ZP-built Valkyrie. Think of it as a "Valkyrie on steroids" with more sensitivity in the harness and more braking power than ever before. Available as an option when you purchase your next wing, sail ribs are a great addition for experienced Valkyrie owners. When choosing between the Valkyrie all ZP and the Valkyrie Hybrid, keep in mind that the sail ribs increase bag volume by about half a size compared to the Valkyrie all ZP. Overall sail life is similar to that of an all-ZP wing. This option is now available for purchase on canopix3D.
